Love the idea - wish I had one but most of the time I'm out with the baby I have him in the pram....as he is 10 kg already. Hope you've find the time to test it.

oh what a shame - they are so nice things - similar thing happened to me - did you se the jacket i knitted with owl buttons? Wel my little one wore it twice - last time it got ripped in the arms....but I'm keeping it as a reminder of how small he was - and now I knit size 1 year he he

Wow has he already begun solids - seems like yesterday he was born. The last year has just flown by for me. Can't keep up!

Congratulations with the amazing baby Bess :) Little A also sleep in the same little bed has his father and grandmother did - love those little heirloom pieces - hope she's a good sleeper and that you are feeling well. Here my little one has started on solid food - oh time goes by so quick.

Oh I've been looking forward to a peek, beautiful images. How lovely to have the cot you were in too - my daughter was in the crib I was in as a baby, soon outgrew it though.

Look after yourself, it is exhilarating being a mother but yes exhausting especially the early months.

Look forward to more on your blog, just think of all the lovely things you can make for Bess when you have more energy and time.

I made it into a women's skirt with a narrow jersey waistband.
